Hair Tips FAQ
Q. How do I care for my Beauty-Full Hair?
A. To prolong the life span of your hair extensions follow these instructions
Step 1:
Fold your hair extensions together from the wefts. Then brush working from the tips upwards as to untangle it.
Step 2:
Wet your hair and apply the shampoo to the top shaft of your hair and squeeze in downwards motions. Avoid scrubbing of any sort.
Step 3:
Repeat step 2 as many times as needed, twice is normally enough. Then make sure you rinse out thoroughly.
Step 4:
Squeeze out your hair extensions from excess water, then apply a generous amount of conditioner. Lather it through the whole hair shaft, then leave conditioner in for up to two hours.
Step 5:
Brush your hair, ensuring that the hair is evenly saturated with conditioner all over. Then rinse thoroughly.
Step 6:
Leave your hair to air dry, apply a drop of serum to your hair while it's damp so it locks in the moisture while drying.
Q. Is it the same method for curly hair?
A. Yes, but with your curly extensions use a leave in conditioner. As it is important to retain moisture to avoid frizz, tangling or shedding.
Q. What hair products do you recommend i use?
A. Tresseme shampoo and conditioner
Vo5 shampoo and conditioner (for frizzy hair; pink colour code)
John Freida Frizz Ease
Moroccan Argan Oil
Q. How many bundles of hair extensions will i need?
A. We usually suggest three bundles for a full head of weave. Please bare in mind, the longer the extension length the more bundles you will need for a full look.
Q. Will my hair extensions keep it's curl or wave pattern?
A. The hair extensions go through an extensive chemical free process which includes in some cases steaming to put the wave or curl in. This means after a while the waves or curls may fall. We recommend enhancing your waves with hot tools including tongs, curling wands and straighteners.
